The Career Hub offers five different services within its physical space.
Mentorship
Mentorship takes place in larger groups, and will usually take place in schools. In these sessions we focus on helping you to understand your strengths, weaknesses and skills. We will then enable you to match these skills to a career pathway which is suited to you. In these sessions we take a broad approach to the job market, and higher learning institutes, to ensure that students consider all possible future pathways. |
Careers Coaching
Careers coaching are one to one sessions, which take place in our Career Hub offices. During these sessions, our Career Hub mentors will enable young people to follow their chosen career path as successfully as possible. This will be done through skills development sessions, advice on applications, and information on opportunities in your chosen sector. |
Consultations for Student Initiatives
We understand that setting up a new initiative is daunting. In these consultations, we provide two key resources to making your student initiative a success. We will help you to source the relevant data to support your student initiative. We will also offer advice for finding funding opportunities. |
Facilitation Sessions
Facilitation sessions are organised by the Career Hub, and advertised on social media platforms and our mailing list. These sessions will give young people a broad overview of a certain aspect of careers advice. In the past, facilitation sessions have included sessions on employability and pre university career compassing. Sign up to our mailing list above to receive information on future sessions. |
